Across India
Known as the silk capital of India, Kanchipuram has been producing exquisite silk sarees for over 400 years. Our weavers here specialise in pure mulberry silk with real gold and silver zari, creating sarees that are treasured as heirlooms across generations.
The Banarasi weaving tradition dates back to the Mughal era. Our artisans in Varanasi create intricate brocade fabrics using gold and silver threads, producing sarees and dupattas with elaborate floral and paisley motifs that are the hallmark of Indian bridal wear.
Chikankari is a delicate hand-embroidery style that originated in the courts of Mughal empresses. Our artisans in Lucknow embroider intricate floral patterns on fine cotton and georgette, creating kurtis and suits that are the epitome of understated elegance.
Jaipur's block printing tradition uses hand-carved wooden blocks to stamp intricate patterns onto fabric using natural vegetable dyes. Our artisans create vibrant dupattas, fabrics, and sarees in the distinctive Sanganeri and Bagru printing styles.
Patola is one of the most complex and time-consuming weaving techniques in the world. A single Patola saree can take 4–6 months to complete. Our weavers in Patan practise the double-ikat technique where both warp and weft threads are dyed before weaving.
Bengal's tant sarees are prized for their lightweight comfort and distinctive jamdani motifs. Our weavers in Shantipur create breathable cotton sarees with intricate geometric and floral patterns, perfect for everyday elegance in warm climates.
Our Process
We work directly with weaver cooperatives and artisan families, eliminating middlemen to ensure fair pricing for both artisans and customers.
Our artisans receive fair wages that reflect the skill, time, and artistry involved in creating each piece — often 2–3x above market rates.
We collaborate with artisans to create designs that honour traditional techniques while appealing to contemporary tastes.
We invest in training programmes that help young artisans learn traditional techniques and ensure these crafts are passed to the next generation.
We encourage and support the use of natural dyes, handloom weaving, and eco-friendly production methods.
A portion of every sale goes back to artisan communities for education, healthcare, and infrastructure development.
Every purchase directly supports the artisan communities behind our collection. Shop handcrafted textiles that carry centuries of tradition.
